Dutch Placement Days

Information for Dutch Higher Education Institutions about Dutch Placement Days in Vietnam.

Dutch Placement Days

Dutch Placement Days (DPD) is organized in Vietnam for the first time in 2015 together with other Neso countries in Southeast Asia. DPD are short intensive events at strategically located venues where we attract students with a real focus on studying in the Netherlands.

Dutch Placement Day provides Dutch institutions an opportunity to talk to the most prospective students in Vietnam. After 2 years, the one on one session really shows its efficiency. Students can communicate directly in English and they are all serious with their study abroad plan. Dutch institutions can scan students' documentation (CV, certificates etc.) and immediately bring them to your talents' shortlist.

As one of the exhibitors in Vietnam in 2 consecutive years 2015 and 2016, Jasper Hofman, International Recruitment Coordinator at Stenden University of Applied Sciences said on Nuffic News: ‘The Dutch Placement Day in Vietnam really exceeded my expectations in terms of organisation, look-and-feel and quality of the enquiries which were really focused, especially during the one-on-one sessions. Great job by the Neso colleagues in Vietnam’
Tentatively, Dutch Placement Day starts in Hanoi (26/10) and Ho Chi Minh City (28/10).

You can be up to date with the definite date and other activities by following Neso Vietnam's online calendar.

Side Events
It is open for Dutch institution to talk to new study abroad agents in Vietnam. Nuffic Neso Vietnam is happy to help you out in connecting to new agents or to set up meeting with your agent before/during or after the DPD.

On this occasion, many Dutch institutions will visit Vietnam and they would love to meet their alumni. Alumni events are organised by Holland Alumni Network in Vietnam and you are open to contribute to the alumni event to have more alumni from your universities.

Fairs in the region
The Nuffic Neso offices in the Southeast Asian region have tried to coordinate their events to allow Dutch Higher Education institutions to make full use of their presence in the region. The complete schedule will be updated normally in September every year.
Of course we do hope you are interested in the programme we have put together and we look forward to seeing many of you (again) this coming autumn in Vietnam.
