Vietnam Vnd648 Billion To Invest In Tertiary Education

The Ministry of Education and Training has decided to spend VND648 billion on infrastructure development for universities and colleges across the country in 2009, up 12 percent compared to last year. The sum will be used for technical and technological development and human resources training at three technical universities and for building of labs and research rooms at other universities. In 2009, the ministry will continue to build and upgrade dormitories to meet 60 percent of students' accommodation.
