During this particular seminar Neso Vietnam staff explained in great detail the differences between research universities and universities of applied sciences. Both types have their own qualities and benefits to for students from Vietnam. Research universities provide more opportunities to focus on theory and universities of applied sciences provide more practical skills together with theory. Both types meet the various demands of Vietnamese society. If you would like to learn more about the two types of institutes please visit our Nuffic website for a diagram of Dutch Universities or contact our Neso office.
