PM counts on Dutch support to tackle climate change

This statement was made at a meeting with André Haspels, the Dutch Ambassador to Vietnam, who visited the PM to say farewell before his term of office in Vietnam comes to an end.

PM Dung said he hoped that the Netherlands, with its rich experience in dealing with the rise of sea levels, will actively help Vietnam to implement a flood-prevention project in Ho Chi Minh City.

He placed high value on the contributions of the Ambassador and expressed his happiness at the growing ties between the two countries, particularly in the fields of economics, trade, investment and development aid.

The Ambassador said that no matter what position he may hold in the future, he will spare no effort to help further the cordial relationship between the two nations.
